Al was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He moved to south Florida in 1973 after serving two years in the United States Army, and in 1977, he started Al Siefert Electric in Broward County. He also holds a Florida Real Estate Broker’s License.
While living in Pompano Beach with his wife, Linda, he served on many city advisory boards, including the Unsafe Structures Board, Planning and Zoning Board, City Charter Review Board, Golf Advisory Board, and the Economic Advisory Board. He was past chairman of the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce and President of the Rotary Club of Pompano Beach.
In 2019, Al sold the electrical business in south Florida, and he and Linda moved to Rockledge. They are enjoying Brevard County and the people they have met.
Al joined the Rockledge Community Development Agency Board in October 2021 and looks forward to volunteering his services in the community.
