The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be performing roadway construction at the intersection of Barnes Boulevard and US #1. This construction is expected to begin Monday, August 16, 2010 and will last approximately 150 days.
Adjustments will be made to the alignment of the traffic signal at the intersection, as well as adjustments to the railroad gates. The work to be done will have two separate changes in traffic pattern on Barnes Blvd within 1,400 feet of US #1 and along US #1 within 1,000 feet of Barnes Blvd.
All changes in traffic will occur as planned and will be announced 7 days in advance, via message boards.
All lane closures required will occur on Barnes Boulevard between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Lane closures on US #1 may only be performed between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Traffic control signs will be installed to assist the motoring public and flagmen will be on site to assist with the lane closures.
