The Eyster Boulevard Improvement Project has begun. The project was awarded to Atlantic Development of Cocoa, Inc. The improvements extend from Murrell Road east to US 1.
The project will start on Monday, April 4, 2011, and will take approximately 120 days.
The plans include extended dual left turning lanes, various improvements with beautiful landscaping and an irrigation system.
EYSTER BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS - Murrell Road east to the Florida East Coast Railway
The milling and paving for Eyster Boulevard will start Monday, April 25, 2011 and should be completed by the close of business day on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
VA Paving will start the milling Monday, April 25, 2011 approximately 7:00 AM., and finish at 5:00 P.M.
On Tuesday, April 26, 2011 they will start the final layer of pavement with temporary striping, and be completed with the work by 5:00 P.M.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution in these areas. Traffic will be maintained but expect delays. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Rockledge Public Works Department, at 690-3961.
