WEDNESDAY SPECIAL PICKUPS
“Special pick ups” for large household items are on Wednesday of each week unless a holiday occurs during that week, with the exception of Thanksgiving week. It is necessary to call before Tuesday at 12:00 PM (noon) each week to schedule a “special pick up” for Wednesday.
- Large items such as furniture, mattresses, appliances, large amounts of construction debris, treated wood, etc., are considered special pickup items. You must call prior to noon on Tuesday to be added to the Special Pickup List for these items to be picked up. These types of items will not be picked up with the regular household garbage.
- Refrigerator and freezer doors must be secured or removed and placed curbside. We cannot pick these items up from garages, carports, or backyards of the home.
Unauthorized dumping into commercial dumpsters is illegal; if caught, you can be fined $500.00 or placed in jail for 60 days. Simply call if you need a special pickup.
