Who operates the parks in the City of Rockledge?
Through a partnership with the City of Rockledge, some of the parks in Rockledge are operated by the Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department Central Area-Mainland Parks Operations (633-1874). The City Manager serves on the Administrative Parks and Recreation Board that supplies assessment and planning of parks and services, and provides oversight of the special recreation taxing district approved by voters in 1971 (the taxing district provides supplemental resources for maintenance of the community center, pool, and recreation complexes).
