Preparations are already in the works for the
24th Annual City of Rockledge Independence Day Family Picnic at McLarty Park.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, July 3, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The picnic is funded by donations from generous sponsors throughout the area, and is staffed by
City personnel, citizen volunteers, Brevard County Parks & Recreation personnel, and
members of the Kiwanis Club of Rockledge, who are the chefs for the day.
One dollar ($1.00) will buy a hamburger, hotdog, chips and a soft drink,
and there will be games, musical entertainment, and plenty of time
to relax and visit with your friends and neighbors.

** FIREWORKS DISPLAY **
The Fireworks Display by Zambelli Internationale from Lee Wenner Park in Cocoa
will take place on SUNDAY, JULY 4TH, beginning at 9:00 p.m.
The Fireworks Display is sponsored by Brevard County Parks & Recreation,
along with the Cities of Rockledge and Cocoa.
