Special Volunteer Recognition |
 At the City Council meeting held February 1, 2012, Mayor Price and Chief of Police Krueger recognized Carmine Abruzzo, who has volunteered at the Police Department for the past 10 years. Due to health issues, he is no longer able to volunteer his time. A large
contingent of Police Department employees was present to support Mr. Abruzzo, who was presented with an engraved plaque in appreciation for his service. Mr. Abruzzo is Mayor Price’s father-in-law. |
Volunteer of the Year Award for 2011 |
 On Saturday, April 21, 2012, the Rockledge City Council hosted a breakfast at the Municipal Building to honor the many volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to provide assistance on the City’s boards and committees.
The Volunteer of the Year award was presented to Duane Daski, Chairman of the Rockledge Board of Adjustment, and member of the Rockledge Business Development Committee and the Community Redevelopment Agency Board of Commissioners, for outstanding volunteer service to the citizens of Rockledge through his community commitment. Congratulations, Duane, and thank you for your selfless efforts. |
