Barks & Recreation Dog Park
The Barks & Recreation Dog Park opened on March 22, 2014. The dog park, which is located at Dr. Robert A. Anderson Stormwater Park, 1220 Pluckebaum Road in Rockledge, has separate, fenced areas for both large and small dogs.
Barks & Recreation came to fruition through the vision and efforts of the Rockledge ROC (Recreation, Open Space & Conservation) Foundation and the Rockledge Animal Clinic and Friends. The City's Planning Department was instrumental in the planning and overall setup of the park, and the Public Works Department handled many of the logistical items. Barks & Recreation is truly the result of teamwork and collaboration!
