[ARCHIVED] Hurricane Milton Update #6

Storm Info

City of Rockledge offices will reopen for normal business hours on Friday, October 11th.

On Friday, October 11th, the City of Rockledge will collect residential carted household garbage and recycling ONLY for those residents with regular Friday service. No loose vegetative debris or bulky waste will be collected on Friday. Commercial service will follow its normal schedule.

Vegetative debris and yard trash will begin to be picked up on Monday, October 14th in accordance with your normal yard trash pickup schedule. This will give residents time to start bringing yard debris to the road for pickup. We encourage residents to make large piles versus smaller piles, as larger piles are easier for the claw trucks to collect without having to reset as often as they would for smaller piles.

Please DO NOT schedule a special pickup for residential yard waste. Residential yard waste/debris will be picked up according to your normal yard trash pickup schedule.

Special pickups for bulky items will be delayed until further notice. We will provide an update when that service becomes available again.

We hope that you stayed safe and fared well through the storm!
