Orlando Health Rockledge Hospital officially closes today, April 22nd. As a result, area hospitals have already begun to experience extended ER wait times. In an effort to ease the strain placed on our local ERs, the Rockledge Fire & Emergency Services Division would like to remind our residents to seek treatment via your primary care doctor or an urgent care center for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as minor cuts and burns; allergies and minor skin rashes; sprains, strains, and pulled muscles; and minor viral infections such as a common cold.
