Request for Special Pick-Up

  1. Information Regarding Special Pick-Ups

    Please complete the form to request a Special Pick-Up. The City offers Special Pick-Ups every Wednesday, excluding holiday weeks with the exception of Thanksgiving week.

    Special Pick-up requests MUST be received by City staff prior to noon on Tuesday to be added to the list. 

    These types of items will not be picked up with the regular household garbage and must be picked up separately: Large items such as furniture, mattresses, large amounts of construction debris, treated wood, etc.

    We also pick up appliances such as: microwaves, blenders, toasters, dishwashers, washers, dryers, refrigerators and freezers (all doors must be removed)

    All items must be placed curbside by 7:00am on Wednesday. We cannot pick up these items from garages, carports or backyards.

    Depending on the type/size of the item being picked up, the City may determine that a fee will be assessed for the pick-up. Staff will contact you with further information if this occurs.

    There is a 50-pound weight limit on all items.

    For wood pieces, please make sure all nails and/or screws are removed or hammered down flat to the surface.

    Wood, lumber, plywood, 2x4s, and landscape logs must be no longer than 4-5 feet in length.

    *Please note: while we will make every effort to pick up your item(s) on the first available Wednesday, depending on the volume of requests received, your pickup may be scheduled for a future date. Thank you for your understanding!

  8. Acknowledgment

    By submitting this form, I understand and acknowledge that:

    My item will be placed curbside by 7:00 AM on Wednesday.

    If I am disposing of a refrigerator/freezer, the doors will be removed prior to placing the item curbside.

    The City will make every effort to pick up my item on the first available Wednesday. However, based on the volume of requests, I understand that my pickup may not be scheduled until the following pickup day.

    Depending on the type/size/weight/amount of the item(s) being picked up, the City may determine on the day of collection that a fee will be assessed for the pick-up. I understand that staff will contact me with further information if this occurs.
